Christmas Market

Got the wagon works in place just in time for our village Christmas Market and the Gnome Valley Tramway open evening. A great time was had by all, but mother nature made up for it in the night by leaving us a rather deep frost.

Trains Cancelled

All train cancelled, ( because of the wrong type of sun shine) here on the Gnome Valley Railway.

Close Mine

The last miner is leaving the Gnome Valley Barley Sugar Mine following the tremendous resent covering of snow preventing the transportation of the valuable Barley Sugar Ore which is needed to produce the seasonal drink Gnomezade. Which we know to be brewed illicitly in all sorts of odd little hidden places all over the valley.

Done a bit more inside but van exhaust finally gave way.

Temporally Together

Just bringing the pieces together temporally to see how it all looks. Just realised that these chain should be taught as the platform would have been raised from inside the building. I think. As you can see from the photo I have a problem with the two parts not being level, looks like some jiggling is called for.

Site Preparation

Started to get the site ready, just a little more to do and then hopefully will be able to install the new wagon works.

Progress on the storage shed come wagon works and the small halt for the junction.
