It’s been a while, but as I am now able to get back to the layout I thought you all may by interested in the progress made so far this year. I must add that all the scenic work has been done by my good mate John Driscoll. There has been no work outside this year owing to bad health and an accident with a bench saw.

I’ve been a bit off it lately, following a tooth extraction but thought that I must try and get back to doing something and not just sitting around watching the TV. So I spent sometime in the shed getting some firewood ready for the rest of the week and putting it in buckets, then realised that we are almost out of coal. Looks like a trip to the local coal merchants to collect a few bags. Had a pleasant surprise when I checked my E-mail this morning to find that my statement of sales had arrived from Amazon showing the sales of my book, Gnome Valley the Story Begins. for December 2013. Most pleasing. Well coffee time I think, then brave the cold get the car out and fetch some coal. By then a rethink will be needed.
